HOW TO PLAY
Pick a mode. Make it yours.
Open Play Any Website on a desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse. Choose Website, Grow, Roll, Image or Word on the homepage. You can try a built-in playground or sample before bringing your own source.
Smash a webpage
Choose Website, enter a public website address, and start the game. The page becomes a destructible playground; the actual website is unchanged.
- A D / arrows
- Move left and right.
- Space / W
- Jump; hold to fly.
- Mouse / left click
- Aim and shoot. Right click throws a grenade.
- 1–7 / wheel
- Switch weapons.
- Esc
- Pause, change settings, restart or choose another source.
Destruction progress measures the original captured page material and visible text removed from their original positions. Detached debris is not a new scoring target.
Plant a webpage garden
Choose Grow and enter a public URL or try the playground. Click to aim and plant; your gardener moves into place and throws a seed. Flowers and vines grow along the page’s text and edges.
- A D / arrows
- Move. Space, W or the up arrow jumps; jump again for a double jump.
- 1–5
- Choose Hand, Sling, Scatter, Gatling or Mortar. Hold Gatling for a stream of seeds.
- 6 + drag
- Trim growth with Shears.
- Hasten / Browse / Clear
- Speed up growth, read and scroll without planting, or remove your plants.
- Esc / Pause
- Pause, restart the same garden or choose another website.
A new garden starts with zero planted seeds. Each landed seed grows a finite patch.
Roll a page into a ball
Choose Roll, enter a website, and click or press Space to drop in. Start with small words and links. Collect bigger images, buttons and panels as your ball grows.
- WASD / arrows
- Roll in any direction. You can also steer toward your mouse cursor.
- Click / Space
- Drop in, then hop.
- P / Pause
- Pause or resume.
- R / M
- Retry the same page / toggle sound.
- Esc / Change website
- Return to the Roll website input.
Reach the target size to finish the first goal, then choose Keep rolling to continue collecting the page.
Break something of your own
In Image, select a static JPG, PNG or WebP, or choose a built-in sample. In Word, enter up to 40 characters. Pick a rule and choose Start breaking. Both use the Website movement and aiming controls.
- Free Smash: use all weapons and finish whenever you like with Finish & save. At 99% destruction, Final blast can clear the remaining material.
- Five Shots: you get five rockets. Every launch counts, including misses; other weapons and grenades are disabled.
- Chain Shot: place three charges on the target, adjust them, then select Arm & aim. Fire one rocket to trigger a chain; a miss uses your only shot.
- Protect the Core: mark the region you want to preserve, then destroy the outside. Your score combines outside destruction and core integrity.
- 60-Second Rampage: explicitly start the clock and destroy as much as possible in one minute. Pausing also pauses the timer.
- Material Lab: compare breakable Glass and Cardboard, with different cuts, fragments and burning behavior.
At the result screen, Save comparison downloads a before-and-after PNG. Retry keeps the same source and rule. Best scores are saved in this browser separately for each challenge.
Common questions
Why does a website fail to load or look incomplete?
Website, Grow and Roll use public, script-free page previews. Pages that require login, block automated requests, or build their content with JavaScript may not work. Try another public page or the built-in playground.
Does playing change the real website?
No. You play with a captured copy. Destruction, plants and collected elements do not change the original website.
Are my images and phrases uploaded?
No. Uploaded images and typed phrases are prepared and played locally in your browser, including PNG exports. Public website addresses are sent to the page-loading service to fetch their previews.
Can I play on a phone?
Gameplay currently requires a desktop keyboard and mouse. Compact screens show a desktop-play notice. These instructions and the About page can still be read on a phone.
Can I play with friends?
Website destruction has multiplayer rooms: create a room and share its invite link. Image and Word challenges are local single-player games.
