Destroy Any Word in Your Browser
Type something. Turn it into pieces. Let it go.
TYPE IT. BREAK IT. LET IT GO.
Make a word your next target.
Type a word or short phrase, turn it into a target, and break the letters apart. Try a free smash or choose a challenge that rewards a careful shot, a chain reaction or a protected core.
Use Type something to enter up to 40 characters, or try Break MONDAY. Your text is prepared and played locally in your browser, with the same six destruction rules as Image mode.
Type. Aim. Let it go.
- 01 / Pick your phrase
Choose Type something, enter up to 40 characters, and review the target preview. Or try the built-in MONDAY target.
- 02 / Choose a rule
Select Free Smash, Five Shots, Chain Shot, Protect the Core, 60-Second Rampage or Material Lab, then choose Start breaking.
- 03 / Break your best
Move with A/D, aim with your mouse and shoot. Each challenge applies its own limits. Save a before-and-after PNG from the result screen, or retry the same word.
Before you break a word
Is my phrase sent to a server?
No. Text preparation, the rendered word target, gameplay and PNG export stay in your browser. Local best records store a source identifier and score, not the phrase or its rendered pixels.
How much can I type?
Enter up to 40 characters. Short words and phrases give the letters room to fit. Empty input is rejected, and the preview shows the target before you start.
Which challenges can I play?
Free Smash, Five Shots, Chain Shot, Protect the Core, 60-Second Rampage and Material Lab. The five-rocket and one-rocket limits include misses. The core challenge scores both outside destruction and the material you preserve; Material Lab lets you compare Glass and Cardboard.
Can I keep the result or try the same word again?
Yes. Save comparison downloads a before-and-after PNG to your device. Retry keeps the same word and rule. Local best scores are separated by source and challenge in this browser.
Can I play on my phone?
Gameplay currently requires a desktop browser, keyboard and mouse. Open this page on your computer to play. The mobile page provides a link you can copy for later.
Who created the original destruction runtime?
Word mode uses the locally adapted runtime and original base assets from Destroy Any Website by Hugo Duprez / Sprite Fusion. Play Any Website adds local text targets, challenge rules and comparison exports. See About and credits.
There’s more than words to play with.
Bring a local image, smash a public webpage, plant a garden or roll up its elements.
