Before you roll
Does collecting elements affect the real website?
No. The ball collects elements from a captured webpage preview in the game. The actual website, its buttons and its content remain unchanged.
Why can’t I pick up a large image yet?
Pickup depends on the size of the ball and the page element. Start with small words and links, then return for larger images and panels after growing.
What happens after I reach the size goal?
You can choose Keep rolling to continue gathering the page, or retry the same captured source. The page percentage measures original material area collected, rather than the number of items.
Why does a page fail to load or look different?
Website previews are anonymous and script-free. Login-only pages, blocked requests and sites that need JavaScript may be unavailable or incomplete. Try another public address or the built-in demo.
Can I play on my phone?
Gameplay currently requires a desktop browser, keyboard and mouse. Open this page on your computer to play. The mobile page provides a link you can copy for later.
Who made the original rolling game?
Roll is a local adaptation of Weball by Fun with Computer Vision / stereodrift. Play Any Website integrates that gameplay with its own interface and webpage-loading service. The original game remains available at its credited link.
More ways to play with a page.
Plant a webpage garden, blast a captured page, or turn your own image or phrase into a target.
